Accessories and thermoforming systems

Besides manufacturing EPS and EPP moulding machinery, Alessio also produces accessories; an example is given by the TF cutter, conceived to supply robotized presses with pre-cut film to be loaded onto the machine as insert. At present, the company is also manufacturing a thermoforming machine, LT type, which is unique since it has no mould. It couples polyethylene films on underfloor panels.

During the process, packages of moulded polystyrene panels are loaded onto the machine; the film is then inserted and the panel is used as mould or matrix. The previously infra-red heated film is vacuum sucked through the panel as in the real thermoforming process. The result is a seizing to the panel due to temperature. This is an alternative system to PMA and allows to couple not only single-material films, but also polyethylene and other kinds of film.

  

Accessori e termoformatrici alessio

Oltre alla produzione di macchine per stampaggio di EPS ed EPP, Alessio fabbrica anche accessori; ne è un esempio la taglierina TF, realizzata per fornire film pretagliato alle presse robotizzate, da caricare in macchina come inserto. Attualmente la società realizza anche una macchina per termoformatura, modello LT, che è unica nel suo genere essendo priva di stampo. Essa, infatti, accoppia film in polietilene su pannelli da sottopavimento.

Il processo prevede il caricamento in macchina di pacchi di pannelli in polistirene già stampati; viene poi introdotto il film e il pannello è utilizzato come stampo o matrice. Attraverso il pannello il film, preriscaldato a infrarossi, viene aspirato grazie ad un sistema per il vuoto, come accade nel processo di termoformatura vero e proprio. Si ha così un aggrappaggio per temperatura al pannello. Si tratta di un sistema alternativo al sistema PMA e permette comunque di accoppiare non solo film monomateriale, ma anche film in polietilene e di altre tipologie.
